Hey there! I'm Muhammet ÇINAR, a dedicated Data Scientist and AI Engineer passionate about pushing the boundaries of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and MLOps.
Currently, I work at Duygu Aviation Defense Industry (DSS), where I develop AI-focused solutions for the defense sector. My role involves designing and implementing end-to-end ML processes—moving from complex data engineering to deploying production-ready models that solve high-stakes problems.
My expertise spans across Large Language Models (LLMs), Deep Learning, and AI. I don't just build models; I ensure they reach the end-user by developing the necessary APIs, databases, and interfaces using FastAPI, SQL, and React Native. My commitment to MLOps and LLMOps ensures that every solution I build is not only innovative but also scalable, reliable, and sustainable.
An Electronics and Communication Engineering graduate from Kocaeli University, I combine a strong technical foundation with a creator's mindset. At DSS, I am actively involved in designing and deploying production-ready AI systems, focusing on large language models (LLMs), machine learning, and data-driven optimization solutions within the defense domain.
I developed and deployed LLM-based chatbot systems with advanced NLU capabilities for automated customer support. Additionally, I built cross-platform mobile (React Native) and desktop GUI applications integrating machine learning models to enable real-time predictions and interactive data visualization.
My work also includes engineering anomaly detection systems for predictive maintenance, developing statistical dispatch planning solutions to optimize resource allocation, and deploying deep learning models as FastAPI microservices supported by SQL-based data pipelines.
During this time, I made significant contributions to our projects with my knowledge and experience in the fields of language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML). My role at Asrın Global AŞ. was to lead various projects developed with natural language processing techniques and to add value to company goals by applying data science concepts.
I gained a wide range of competencies in deep learning models, text mining, and sentiment analysis. With the projects developed under my management, we strengthened the company's data-driven culture and offered data science solutions to optimize business processes.
Actually, this internship was a general engineering internship, but our IT manager decided that my interest in AI and data engineering would allow me to work on AI-Data Engineering and cloud technologies during this time. My interest in Apache Spark and cloud technologies led me to explore how we could integrate our company's data and workloads into platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. While migrating big data and workloads to the cloud, I focused on creating scalable, reliable, and effective solutions.
I built a pipeline on GCP and made Python ETL codes compatible with Nifi. Later, I automated these processes using Airflow.
I worked as a Machine Learning/Computer Vision Engineer during which time I gained unique experience through the projects I realized. I developed myself in areas such as image analysis, object detection, and classification, creating solutions to various problems using the latest technologies in this field.
I contributed to enhancing the company's products and services with the algorithms and modeling studies I developed. By working together with the team, we created a strong collaborative environment to complete our projects successfully.
